New Institutions Added: October 2025

This month we added 35 new institutions to PatronView with 310,965 contributions.

This is my first month documenting these new institutions, so I’m going to give it a shot at listing them based on category. We’re pulling this data from publicly available annual reports, IRS 990 forms, and donor recognition lists. The goal is to create the most comprehensive database of cultural institution donors on the internet.

Here’s how our institution count has grown:

🏛️ Major Museums

• Denver Art Museum – 43,422 contributions. My sister lives in Denver!
• National Gallery of Art – 35,496 contributions. The National Gallery in DC was the first city that my renegade tour company, Museum Hack, grew to outside of NYC.
• Milwaukee Art Museum – 35,084 contributions. I’ve never been here.
• The Cleveland Museum of Art – 33,248 contributions. I want to visit.
• Smithsonian Institution – 24,957 contributions. This one was tricky: surprisingly hard to find records to crawl.
• Museum of Fine Arts in Houston – 13,872 contributions
• Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago – 13,755 contributions. I want to spend more time in Chicago. My friend Tynan just bought a place there downtown.
• Walker Art Center – 12,612 contributions. Never visited.
• Newark Museum of Art – 10,457 contributions
• Buffalo AKG Art Museum – 9,403 contributions. I think they recently changed their name? I visited many years ago: it’s a great space with an impressive collection.

🎭 Performing Arts

I’m not sure if we should include these types of organizations, but we’ll try it out.

• New Jersey Performing Arts Center – 10,494 contributions
• New Jersey Symphony Orchestra – 4,835 contributions
• American Symphony Orchestra – 229 contributions
• Symphony in C – 353 contributions
• WBGO Jazz – 298 contributions

📜 History & Culture

• George Eastman Museum – 7,751 contributions
• The Phillips Collection – 7,532 contributions
• Arts Council of Princeton – 6,105 contributions
• Newark Public Library – 5,752 contributions. I need to see if we can find more here. I want to get more library data.
• Connecticut Museum of Culture and History – 5,335 contributions
• Albany Institute of History & Art – 5,008 contributions

🤠 Texas Organizations

I’m biased towards these, and expect to see more Texas-based orgs since I live in Austin.

• Holocaust Museum Houston – 6,185 contributions. Surprisingly large donor lists here.
• Bullock Texas State History Museum – 3,477 contributions. Check out my short video about this museum, or my longer vlog where I visited the Bullock Museum with friends.
• Houston Museum of Natural Science – 1,702 contributions
• Blanton Museum of Art – 1,069 contributions. This is really Austin’s best (and only) art museum with a permanent collection.

• Nelson Atkins Museum of Art – 1,980 contributions
• Princeton University Art Museum – 1,448 contributions
• Broad Museum – 1,167 contributions
• East Hamptons Historical Society – 872 contributions

• The Bronx Museum of the Arts – 620 contributions
• Morris Museum – 588 contributions
• Guild Hall – 538 contributions
• The Music Center Foundation – 290 contributions

That’s a lot of new organizations. More to come. We’re just getting started and I’m excited to see where this goes.
